Dr. Taer A. Alkuor is the founder of Dental Patient Boost and a practicing general dentist at Key Dental in Brownsville, Texas. He earned his DDS at UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, after a Bachelor's and Master's in Biomedical Engineering at UT Arlington.

Born in Amman, Jordan and raised in Dallas–Fort Worth from age five, Dr. Alkuor worked in local restaurants through school to help support his family — the oldest of six siblings. That background shapes how Dental Patient Boost works with practice owners: the math has to make sense, the systems have to be repeatable, and the team has to know exactly what to do on any given day.

Dental Patient Boost exists because every marketing agency Dr. Alkuor evaluated for Key Dental pitched the same generic playbook to him. He built the system inside his own practice first — Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM, missed-call workflows, KPI dashboards, front-desk scripts — then turned it into the agency for other general practices under $2M.

Dr. Alkuor is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), Rio Grande Dental Society, AFD, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society. He lives in the Rio Grande Valley with his wife and sons.

The first half is the part everyone sells. The second half is where every general practice under $2M loses growth: missed calls, weak case acceptance, poor retention, no KPI visibility, no clear plan. We work both halves.

We do not work with specialists, DSOs, or practices over $2M. The focus on a single segment is the reason the systems work as well as they do. The under-$2M general practice has its own economics, its own team dynamics, its own operational quirks. We have spent every working day inside that segment.

How we work with practices

Practice assessment first, retainer second

Every engagement starts with a 7-section assessment covering marketing, operations, KPI tracking, treatment acceptance, front desk performance, recall, and leadership. We share the findings whether you sign with us or not. About a third of the practices we assess don't need our marketing. They need their existing leads handled better. We tell them that.

One team, no handoffs

The person on the strategy call is the person managing your ad accounts and reviewing your call recordings. No account-executive layer in front of a junior media buyer.

Twice-monthly working sessions

Two 30-minute meetings per month, live, reviewing the data. No PDF reports delivered the second Tuesday of the following month.

Long-term thinking, short-term commitment

No long-term contracts on any plan. The retainer covers month-to-month service. The annual plan is discounted but optional. If we're not earning the seat, you should be able to leave without negotiating a way out.
